AFC Fylde added to Southend United’s issues with a well-deserved victory at Roots Hall.
Hundreds of fuming Shrimpers fans marched to the ground together to protest against the crisis club’s chairman Ron Martin.
But, once there, supporters saw Kevin Maher’s side suffer a 2-1 defeat to put them at the foot of the table.
Taelor O’Kane took a little under two minutes to fire the Coasters into the lead, only for Harry Cardwell to level for the Shrimpers just before the hour.
