A SECOND-HALF brace from Stephen Wearne ensured an impressive Gateshead inflicted a first home defeat of the season on sorry Barnet.
The Heed followed up their 6-0 trouncing on Dorking Wanderers last week with another big performance, and but a combination of wayward finishing and inspired goalkeeping by Barnet’s Laurie Walker, the scoreline might have been greater.
