ERICO Sousa’s penalty just before half-time earned Boreham Wood maximum points at Meadow Park in a game where they were up against it for the most part.
Not for the first time, Luke Garrard’s men had goalkeeper Nathan Ashmore to thank for a string of fine saves to deny the likes of Reece Smith and Tobi Sho-Silva.
“It was a massive three points today, against a side in good recent form,” a relieved Garrard said. “It was nice to keep a clean sheet for the second match running. I’m really happy.”
