Match Preview: Ebbsfleet United v Rochdale (Saturday, 3pm)

Ebbsfleet United host Rochdale at the Kuflink Stadium on Saturday on the back of three consecutive wins in the National League.

Ebbsfleet have picked up 11 points from their last six games, and they face a Dale side who also won their last match, and have collected four points from the last possible 18.

With 48 goals in 36 games so far this season, Ebbsfleet are scoring at below the league average rate with 1.3 goals per game. And they are conceding more than average, letting in 59 goals at a rate of 1.6 per game.

Rochdale, meanwhile, are above average scorers, with 1.6 goals per game, compared to a league average of 1.5. They have conceded 1.5 goals per game.

United are 17th in the table after 36 games, of which they have won 11 and drawn eight, earning 41 points.

The Dale are five places ahead of the home side in 12th, with 12 wins and nine draws putting them on 45 points.

Ebbsfleet’s last match was on February 24, a 4-1 win against Dorking Wanderers, with Rakish Phillip Bingham (two), Dominic Samuel and Luke O’Neill getting the goals for Ebbsfleet.

Rochdale beat Wealdstone 3-0 last time out, on Tuesday, with Cian Hayes (two) and Ethan Ebanks-Landell on the scoresheet.
