ALDERSHOT Town leapfrogged a lethargic Latics into fifth place as Tommy Widdrington’s young Shots again overcame the challenge of a fellow play-off contender.
This was an enthralling, chaotic game which lived on the edge for over 100 minutes as the Shots earned a third clean sheet against top seven sides in under a month, and consigned Oldham to their first away defeat in 10 games.
