DARTFORD beat Eastleigh on their home turf to move just one win away from the NLFA South Division title.
The Spitfires needed to beat the Darts to have any realistic chance of catching them but the Kent club’s lead at the top now stretches to 13 points.
While Eastleigh, who were unbeaten in their last six matches, have a game in hand, the Darts need just three more points from their final four games to seal it.
