Barrett buzzes with Saddlers

AFC FYLDE full-back Connor Barrett has sealed a dream move to the Football League by signing a three-year deal with League Two side Walsall.
The 22-year-old scored seven goals and registered 17 assists in two seasons at Mill Farm and also won the National League North title in 2022-23.
“I’m buzzing to be here,” said Barrett, who will join the Saddlers when his contract expires at the end of the month. “Everything is positive and I just want to kick on.”
Fylde are due compensation as Barret is under 24.
