ALAN, 90, IS GIVING SOMETHING BACK

A 90-YEAR-OLD volunteer has vowed to keep giving back to his beloved Clitheroe FC as long as he is fit and able to.
Alan Daniels moved to Clitheroe from Leeds in 1972 and began following his new local team before he became involved with volunteering almost 25 years ago.
His love for the club begun when his late wife Mary, suffering from Parkinson’s, used to visit Shaw-bridge to watch matches.
The care and support the club showed for his wife encouraged Daniels to want to give back.
