SAM Johnson produced a stunning double save to deny Hartlepool United a first home win of the season.
FC Halifax Town’s captain first thwarted substitute Gary Madine with a tremendous 88th-minute stop and then blocked from fellow sub Adam Campbell seconds later as Pools threw the kitchen sink at the Shaymen.
There was one last scare in added time, but Luke Charman’s shot flashed past Johnson’s near post.
