On winning a 50/50 tackle ten yards from the corner of the box, the Lambs substitute looked on as the ball looped high over Braintree keeper Lucas Covolan and sailed into the net.
Braintree boss Angelo Harrop bemoaned his side’s bad luck but was fuming with the decisions of the referee.
