FC HALIFAX Town are up to ninth and within touching distance of the play-off places after grinding out a 1-0 victory at Maidenhead United thanks to a crisp second-half strike from Florent Hoti.
The two teams came into the game in contrasting form, with the Shaymen having delivered their best performance of the season in a 3-1 win over Eastleigh and the Magpies having slumped to a disappointing defeat at Tamworth.
