AN exhibition in perseverance from Oldham Athletic striker Mike Fondop eventually proved enough to give Latics a 1-0 victory over a stubborn Yeovil Town at Boundary Park.
Fondop, whose father was in the stands to watch his son play in England for the first time, had several earlier chances to break the deadlock but rose highest to a Reagan Ogle cross ten minutes from the close to head past travelling keeper Ollie Wright.
