INIH Effiong’s second-half strike saw Braintree Town leapfrog AFC Fylde in a crucial relegation clash.
Stalwart Effiong clincially converted Chay Cooper’s centre just before the half-hour in a match which later saw Fylde’s Tyler Roberts sent off for two bookings.
Both sides started the afternoon hovering just above the National League relegation places and entered off the backs of respectable league wins last weekend.
