High-flying Gateshead’s patchy form continued as Aldershot became only the second side to take points off the Tynesiders at home this season.
The Heed initially came from behind to lead at the break after an impressive opening 45 minutes. But they lost their way after Jack Barham levelled for the Shots early in the second half.
