EASTLEIGH last night sacked manager Kelvin Davis and his assistant Danny Butterfield following this disappointing defeat to Braintree Town – their fifth of the season.
The former Southampton goalkeeper had led the Spitfires to three wins in four games in August, but have now lost three of their last five, leaving them 16th in the table.
