Teenage defender Phil Chinedu is determined to keep repaying the faith of Wealdstone boss Sam Cox.
The 19-year-old joined Stones on an initial one-month loan deal from League One Leyton Orient in August and has established himself as a regular name on the teamsheet at Grosvenor Vale.
Having signed his first professional contract with the O’s this summer, Chinedu is lapping up all the experience he’s getting with the Stones – and working under popular boss Cox, who has in turn kept the centre-back on for a second month and then on a loan until January.
