FLINT END 72-YEAR WAIT FOR THE FINAL

FLINT Town United have bridged a 72-year gap to reach only their second JD Welsh Cup final after hammering Bangor City 5-1 at Llandudno’s Go Goodwins Stadium.
There was only one team in it after the JD Cymru Premier outfit raced into a 3-0 lead in the first half thanks to an opening goal from Darren Stephenson after only six minutes and then a brace from their top goalscorer Elliott Reeves in the 25th and 33rd minutes sealed their passage to the showpiece final.
