JAY Turner-Cooke struck deep into stoppage time to earn FC Halifax Town a dramatic victory and deny Altrincham a point at the J. Davidson Stadium.
Just when it looked as though the contest would end goalless, Turner-Cooke produced the decisive moment, firing home in the fourth minute of added time to seal all three points for the visitors.
Halifax boss Adam Lakeland praised his side’s persistence, saying: “We kept going right until the end and got what
I felt we deserved. The players showed real belief and quality in that final moment.”
