FOREST Green Rovers boss Robbie Savage has made a statement of intent after capturing James Berry on a season-long loan from EFL League One side Wycombe Wanderers.
The 25-year old midfielder enjoyed a successful loan at Chesterfield last season in League Two, playing 33 games, netting five goals and four assists.
Savage had Berry at Macclesfield and was delighted to get his man.
“It’s a dream come true to be reuniting with James and bringing him to Forest Green,” the Welshman said.
