STONES HIT BACK LATE TO THWART COASTERS

NATIONAL League new-boys AFC Fylde and Wealdstone served up an exhilarating opening game of the season with plenty of late drama.
The game was action packed from the first minute when, straight from the kick-off, Stones’ Luke Norris forced a superb flying save from Zac Jones in the Fylde goal.
But after that scare, Fylde, driven on by man of the match Danny Mayor and Cedric Main holding the ball up well up front, dominated the remainder of the first half.
