Aldershot Town fans used last week’s game with FC Halifax Town to relay a very important message following the tragic death of one of their own.

The Shots faithful in the East Bank unfurled a huge banner reading: “Stop Knife Crime: Once A Shot, Always A Shot, Forever 15” in memory of 15-year-old Luis Gabriel Guembes, a dedicated Aldershot fan who was tragically stabbed to death in Guildford on January 19.

A minute’s applause was also observed at exactly 15:15 as a poignant show of unity and respect between both sets of supporters, standing together against knife crime.
