Two goals in the space of 15 second-half minutes secured victory for Mark Hughes’ Carlisle United to get their play-off challenge back on track.
Looking to bounce back from a 3-1 midweek defeat at Hartlepool United, the Cumbrians were good value for their win, handed to them courtesy of Georgie Kelly and Stephen Wearne.
Temi Eweka netted a consolation for the Spitfires in Richard Hill’s first game back in charge but Hughes was the happier of the two managers.
