Woking bring in Beautyman, Gorman, Harries and Jones

‘Shocking’ Woking

National League Woking have made four signings in one day to bolster their squad.

Harry Beautyman, Dale Gorman, Cian Harries and Jacob Jones have joined the Cards.

Beautyman has arrived at the National League club following his release from Sutton United, where he made 348 appearances in all competitions across two spells.

The 32-year-old has also represented Peterborough United, Northampton Town and Stevenage in the EFL, plus stints at St Albans City, Hastings United and Welling United earlier in his career.

The Newham-born man has also been capped twice by the England C side.

On his signing, Woking manager Michael Doyle told the official club website:

Harry Beautyman is a proven winner. He brings tons of experience and is a great addition to the side.

“He’s won promotion out of this league, he plays with intensity and we’re delighted to add such a quality player.”

Dale Gorman has arrived from Barnet, where he was part of play-off finishes in the last two seasons.

The former Northern Ireland u21 international has also played for the likes of Stevenage, Leyton Orient and Yeovil Town.

Centre-back Cian Harries has been brought in from local rivals Aldershot Town.

He had past EFL experience with Coventry City, Bristol Rovers and Swindon Town. He turned down a new deal at Aldershot to make the switch to Kingfield.

Woking have also confirmed the arrival of Jacob Jones from Cove Rangers.

The Welsh left-back had spent a year in Scotland having previously worked under Doyle at Forest Green Rovers.

The Cards finished 17th in the National League last year having reached the play-offs in 2022/23.
