BLOATERS GLOAT AT 3G PLAN

GREAT Yarmouth Town are in line for a £1 million 3G artificial pitch at their historic Wellesley Stadium home, if plans by the local council bear fruit.
The ground –which boasts the world’s oldest grandstand of its type which this year celebrated its 125th anniversary – has been earmarked by Great Yarmouth Borough Council as an area for future development.
The council has begun talks with the FA about getting grant aid and will be investigating other sources of funding.
