COMMON SENSE prevailed at the Ironmongery Direct Stadium on Good Friday when this match was abandoned by referee Ian Fissenden in the 31st minute because of continuous torrential rain.
The Kent official, after agreeing to start the game, had warned both sides that if conditions worsened he would not hesitate to abandon the match.
