SUTTON’S ON TARGET TO SINK PILGRIMS

A GOAL midway through the first half by captain Shane Sutton was enough to boost the Bucks back into the play-off places, at the expense of visitors Boston.
The home side shrugged off the absence of top scorer Daniel Udoh, and in a lively start had Boston back-pedalling, with wing-backs Henry Cowans and Steph Morley prominent.
It was Morley’s rightwing corner on 23 minutes that led to the Bucks going ahead, as Sutton crashed a farpost header past keeper George Willis, his second goal in two games.
