SUBSTITUTE Nicky Walker was the match-winning hero for Boston United.
He struck the decisive goal just four minutes after emerging from the bench to keep the Pilgrims’ play-off hopes alive. And Walker’s effort sent FC United of Manchester to their 17th league loss and kept Neil Reynolds’ side in the drop zone.
The Red Rebels struck the first blow when Chris Sharp smashed the ball home on eight minutes after Michael Donohue returned a cross into the danger zone following Jack Banister’s initial centre.
