THE POPPIES returned to action after an enforced Covid break with a fine victory over Bradford PA.
Any worries of Kettering not being 100 per cent match fit were soon forgotten on three minutes when Ben Stephens launched an audacious 30 yards shot over the helpless Dan Atkinson.
The hosts’ initial dominance soon produced a second goal with Mansfield loanee Josh Scott nodding home a Ben Milnes cross on 15 minutes.
