ONE-NIL away experts Eastbourne Borough did just enough to claim all three points at Welling United.
In the fifth minute Welling goalkeeper Rhys Lovett was deemed to have fouled George Alexander and the one time Wing converted from the spot.
Yahya Bamba got in behind the Welling defence and attempted to slot home but Lovett stuck out his left leg to make an excellent save before the hosts failed to clear a long throw and Michael Klass saw his shot come out off the bar.
