Pilgrims pounce as Darlo run is ended

BOSTON UNITED came out on top at Darlington in a meeting of two teams destined for a mid-table finish.
The clubs went into the contest in 11th and 13th positions and had swapped places by fulltime, with the Pilgrims moving up two places after Reece Thompson and Ashley Hemmings secured an away victory.
Boston took advantage of a lacklustre performance by their hosts, who never got going, despite losing only one of their previous 11 games.
