A BRACE from Adam Thomas secured the points for the visitors including a superb free-kick that sees Gloucester City drop down the table.
Curzon Ashton broke the deadlock after ten minutes after a quick free-kick caught City off-guard, allowing a cutback to find Thomas, whose effort struck the post and rebounded in leaving the keeper helpless.
Gloucester’s tempo picked up while searching for a quick response and it came when a Jordan Youngs corner was met by a header from debutant Jordan Thompson.
