SMART STEVENS SAVES CITY

CONCORD RANGERS made a late rally to rescue a point against Oxford City, the hosts having goalkeeper Jack Stevens to thank for a string of tremendous second half saves.
A drab opening 45 minutes was punctuated by half chances, Kyron Farrell’s powerful effort from range the best of a bad bunch, forcing a smart save from Stevens.
City fought back after the break and they took the lead on the hour mark when Rob Sinclair rode a challenge in the middle of the park, playing a one-two with Zac McEachran before finishing from six yards.
