BOREHAM WOOD came from behind to equalise when Ronnie Nelson’s goal for Tonbridge Angels was quickly cancelled out by an equaliser from Lee Ndlovu.
The hosts controlled the exchanges in the first half and got off to a fast start when Jon Benton’s cross was forced onto the crossbar by Angels keeper Matt Rowley on two minutes.
Kwesi Appiah forced a good save from Rowley five minutes later with a well-struck volley.
A torrential downpour then started which had an impact on the quality of most of the first half.
