Torquay sign Jay Foulston

Torquay sign

Torquay United have made their first signing since having their transfer embargo lifted.

The Gulls have brought in left back Jay Foulston from Taunton Town on a two-year deal.

Foulston spent the second half of last season on loan at Yeovil Town from the Peacocks, featuring against Torquay in National League South in a 3-0 win for the Glovers en route to their title success.

The former Wales U19 international started his career at Newport County before representing Merthyr Town and Chippenham Town on loan before joining Taunton.

Torquay United now have two players on their books – Foulston is alongside former Taunton teammate Austen Booth at Plainmoor.
