KING’S LYNNcompleted their second league double of the season as manager Ian Culverhouse took the opportunity to have a look at some of his younger players.
In an uneventful opening half the first effort of note fell to Basingstoke when Sam Deadfield broke through but shot wide.
The same player tried his luck again on 35 minutes but his quick free-kick was again wide.
Four minutes later, Lynn managed their first effort when Kegan Everington got on the end of a Michael Clunan freekick but was also wide.
