BEDFORD Town finally wore down a packed home defence to walk away with all three points following two second-half goals from Andrew Phillips and Lee Roache.
The first 45 minutes proved to be a very scrappy affair with plenty of stoppages in play causing the game to become somewhat disjointed.
It came to life on 55 minutes though when Potters Bar Town’s Billy Adcock received his marching orders, leaving the home side with an uphill battle. Bedford made the man advantage count on 79 minutes when Phillips found the net.
