LEAMINGTON’S hopes of snatching the title from Chippenham are now very slim after they were edged out by Frome Town.
The Brakes, almost certain of a play-off place, had their chances to win the game but were denied by a combination of superb goalkeeping from Kyle Phillips and poor finishing.
Ahmed Obeng had a great opportunity inside the opening minutes, latching on to Jack Edwards’ flick from Richard Taundry’s long throw only for Phillips to make the first of a string of impressive stops.
