■A POINT for the Peacocks was enough to confirm their place in the play-offs as the battle between the top two sides ended all square.
The newly crowned champions Hereford made an ideal start after just two minutes, the Town defence slow to clear a blocked shot which rolled across for Mike Symons to prod home.
The hosts hit back to equalise just before the half hour when ex-Bulls man Ross Staley was pulled down and Ed Palmer drove home the free-kick.
