STRUGGLING Hayes & Yeading United waited until the second half to ease their worries and timely substitutions made the important difference.
The first half was a dour affair as both defences dominated and most efforts on goal were either blocked or deflected. Mitchell Weiss and Anthony Edgar had efforts for the visitors and Claudio Diaz for the hosts had a clear run and his shot was well saved by Danny Boness.
A fine move for Dunstable then looked promising but Cole Brown made two vital interceptions.
