■ZAKI OUALAH was the Farnborough hero after his 97th-minute penalty save saw his side hold onto a slender lead.
The Yellows started the brightest but had to wait until the 40th minute to reap the rewards, Charlie Allen scoring after a deflected shot fell into his path.
They could have made it two before the break, but for a superb Sam Roach save that denied Jamie Cureton.
Shortly after the interval, Histon got a deserved equaliser through James Carman’s fantastic strike but Cureton soon latched onto a header across goal to restore the hosts’ lead.
