CAMBRIDGE City got their campaign off to a bad start as they lost at home to Ashford Town, despite taking an early lead.
City drew first blood in the opening minute when new signing Lewis Wilson found the net with a deadly finish to send the home fans wild.
They had further chances to extend their lead with both Tom Knowles and Salim Relizani going close, as they cut through Ashford with ease.
