HARTLEY Wintney kicked off their debut season in the Evo-Stik South East league with a win against the travelling Northwood FC.
It took only 47 seconds for Paul Hodges to open the scoring. Sam Argent chested the ball into Hodges’ path who calmly placed the ball past the keeper.
Sam Argent doubled the lead in the second half, when Dean Stow’s crosscum- shot was met at the back post by the unmarked skipper – who managed to poke it home.
