MONEYFIELDS made a successful start to Evo- Stik League Southern life after winning a feisty encounter against Kempston Rovers.
They got off to a great start when Ryan Pennery fired home the opener, and with just under 40 minutes gone the lead was doubled by Sam Pearce who rose unmarked to meet a Connor Bailey cross.
It got worse for Kempston, as both Seb Simpson and then Grant Fryer were shown red card - as their hopes of a win faded.
Kempston did score through Jake Newman though, after a mistake in the home defence.
