KING’S LYNN TOWN stormed to the top of the table after emphatically ending Stratford’s unbeaten record.
Leon Mettam’s brace and Michael Clunan and Michael Gash goals saw the Linnets to a comfortable win to extend their unbeaten run to six matches.
Lynn were frustrated by the visitors in the first 25 minutes but once the first goal arrived the result was never in doubt.
They opened the scoring when midfielder Clunan’s freekick was headed in by Gash.
