ROYSTON cancelled out Stratford’s early lead with the draw a fair outcome.
Stratford went ahead inside the opening 90 seconds. Will Grocott played a corner short to Edwin Ahenkorah, whose cross reached Ben Stephens on the far post and he neatly controlled the ball on his chest before lifting over keeper Joe Welch.
Welch then prevented Royston from going two down ten minutes later as he turned Jazz Luckie’s fierce drive behind after the striker had been released down the right by a shrewd Stephens pass.
