MERTHYRran out of steam against a workmanlike Biggleswade side who did crucially have someone in Liam Brooks who was able to finish.
It was the home side who set the tempo in the first 45 minutes with Adam Davies marauding down the Merthyr right.
Unfortunately for Merthyr, on the day they were rather toothless in front of goal with Corey Jenkins and Ian Traylor forcing regulation saves from visiting goalkeeper Liam Gooch.
