HULL UNITED are in mourning after popular former player Carl Giblin passed away with motor neurone disease at the age of 32.
Carl was diagnosed with the life-limiting disease in 2013 and sadly died on Thursday evening.
The tragic news was posted by his loving wife, Amy, on Twitter. he also leaves a one-year-old son.
The club tweeted: “Everyone at Hull United are saddened at the loss of Carl Giblin. Our thoughts and prayers are with Amy, Arlo and all of Carl’s friends and family at this time.
“Carl was a true leader, warrior and inspiration to all.”
