BANBURY United were too strong for a depleted and youthful Stortford side that had to give first-team league debuts to three players.
The visitors took the lead in the sixth minute when their first real attack ended when Jack Self ’s cross to the far post was headed in by Elliot Sandy.
The Blues had a number of promising attacks and were in the contest until United’s two goals in three minutes.
