WEYMOUTH are virtually guaranteed a place in the playoffs, but Chesham’s own promotion hopes look over.
Chesham’s best chance came on five minutes, but David Hutton chipped over the bar.
The visitors took the lead on 16 minutes after Chesham keeper Hafed Al-Droubi’s mishit clearance found Ben Thomson, who lobbed into the empty net from 35 yards. Abdulai Baggie made to 2-0 with a curling shot into the roof of the net on 32 minutes.
