BANBURY made it eight games undefeated in the league.
The Puritans took the lead on nine minutes when Tom Winters laid on a short pass to for George Nash who crossed for Jack Self to fire home from ten yards.
A great run down the right by Tom Knowles into the Banbury box on 15 minutes ended with a cross to the far post where Ben Baker slotted home.
The hosts almost got number two after 20 minutes but Elliott Sandy fired over, then Winters shot straight at keeper Tim Treves.
Banbury then had two consecutive corners and on the second one debutant Stefane Ngamvolou headed over.
